Directions

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network is headquartered in room 146 in the basement of the Atmospheric Sciences-Geophysics (ATG) Building at the University of Washington's Seattle campus.

Both Google and Apple provide good directions to the Atmospheric Sciences-Geophysics Building.

Use Metro's Online Trip Planner and type in "3920 Okanogan Ln NE" for the destination. This will give you directions by bus and/or Link. 

If you are coming from the Light Rail station at Husky Stadium ("Univ of Washington" Station), once you are at the surface, you can cross the skybridge to walk up Rainier Vista. Head northwest toward Drumheller Fountain and turn left just North of Bagley Hall (you will now also be north of the fountain). Turn right after the covered bicycle rack onto Okanogan Ln, and then turn right at the sign for PNSN into the loading dock. 

The Seismology Lab is located in room ATG-146 between the Atmospheric Sciences-Geophysics (ATG) and Johnson Hall (JHN) buildings. Finding it can be tricky because it is located under the courtyard between the buildings. From the courtyard, the easiest way is to enter through the leftmost double glass doors* to ATG and then follow the signs down the stairs.

*The double glass doors entrance is not an accessible entrance.

For an accessible entrance, instead of going in through those doors, proceed to the right, parallel to ATG, and enter the ATG building on the left before you get to the metal railing. Proceed to the elevator and go to the first floor. Exit the elevator and go to the right. You will see signs directing you out of the building and then back into the building through the double doors to the right. Our lab is straight ahead and on the left side.

From 15th Ave. turn east on 40th St. (Gate #5) and go right onto Stevens Way at the three way stop. Follow Stevens Way for about a quarter of a mile and then turn left onto Okanogan Lane. Follow this until just before the road makes a hard left; you will see the loading dock to the lab on your right. Head through the double doors directly behind the loading dock. The lab is just after the hallway on the left side.
